The Horse Fair is an important event in Morocco’s Eljadida city that is organized every year under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The fair reflects the country’s longstanding tradition of horse riding and breading, and represents an opportunity to revive the trades and skills associated with it.
This year’s edition is organized from October 15 to 20 under the theme “The horse in the Moroccan Ecosystems”. It attempts to showcase Morocco’s rich and diversified fauna and flora, and the historical significance of the horse in it for Moroccans. This year’s agenda features the 700 knights from 40 countries who partake in different contests and tournaments for the best squadrons, best knights, best breeders, best Amazigh horses, best Arab horses, in addition to the final contest, Equi Play. Additionally, the program includes cultural and scientific conferences and entertainment activities for minors.
