The College of Europe, a postgraduate institute of European studies, is offering Moroccans an opportunity to apply for fully-funded master’s programs.
In an interview with International Morocco, the ambassador of the European College in Morocco, Youssef Igrouane said that fully-funded master’s programs are now open for Moroccan students interested in widening their perspectives about the issues that have and continue to shape the European union in different sectors.
These programs aim at making “postgraduate students understand the political, legal, economic and international core issues, challenges and potentials of this unique process” in order to “prepare them for leadership functions requiring a strategic understanding of European issues.
The MA programs offered are in European Economic Studies, European Interdisciplinary Studies, EU international Relations and Diplomacy Studies, European Law, and European Political and Governance Studies.
Youssef Igrouane explains that the students are given the opportunity to engage in discussions and debates with the high level speakers in Europe that are invited by the institute. These include heads of different ministries in European countries, members of the EU parliaments, and even heads of states.
The college is the world’s oldest institute that specializes in studies about the European affairs and has two campuses in two European cities: The Bruges campus in Belgium and the Natolin Campus in Warsaw.
