All U.S Exchange Programs for Professionals

The United States offers a number of exchange opportunities for Moroccan professionals. These cover a variety of fields and range from 5 weeks to 1 year. In all of them, the United States stresses that the beneficiaries possess sufficient English-language proficiency, and requires that they show a commitment to return to Morocco and pass on the skills they acquired to others.

Atlas Corps Fellowship Program

The Atas Corps Fellowship: MENA Entrepreneurs initiative recruits emerging business professionals from Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Palestinian territories, and Tunisia for a 12-month professional fellowship in the United Sates. Fellows serve in leading corporations, private companies, b-corps, and organizations that promote entrepreneurship through hands-on experience while developing person-to-person connections to learn effective business practices.

Community Solutions Program

The Community Solutions Program is a professional development program for global community leaders working in the fields of transparency and accountability, tolerance and conflict resolution, environmental issues, and women’s issues. The program provides four-month-long fellowships at the U.S community-based non-profit or other organizations, government offices or legislative bodies.

Professional Fellows Program (PFP) on Economic Development

Administered by Legacy International, the PFP on Entrepreneurship and Economic Development is a six-week program (Including a 4-week fellowship placement) in the U.S. for young entrepreneurs and social innovators committed to empowering their communities through entrepreneurship, socially responsible business and workforce development.

Professional Fellows Program (PFP) on Civic Engagement

Administered by the Institute for Training and Development (ITD), this program is an opportunity for young professionals who work in organizations that advocate citizen participation in government with focus on citizen access, rule of law, or the judiciary system. Selected participants spend 6 weeks in Massachusetts and host US counterparts in the organizations later in the year.

TechwWomen

TechwWomen brings together emerging women leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with their professional American counterparts for a five-week project based mentorship and exchange program.

Middle-East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) Leaders for Democracy Fellowship (LDF)

MEPI LDF is being redesigned and announcements will be made regarding the specific details of this program.

Fulbright Exchanges

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Fulbright program provides funding for Moroccan professionals and academics to pursue educational opportunities in the U.S. Program funding is provided by the U.S. Congress through an annual appropriation to the U.S Department of State. Foreign governments, college and universities and private foundations also provide direct and indirect support.
