Bill and Hilary Clinton’s photos in Marrakech began surfacing on Facebook on Friday 20th September. The first photo that goes viral was that of Bill Clinton, former US president, with snake charmers in the famous central square of Marrakech, Jamaa El Fnaa, while security guards surrounding them on every side.

Later, photos of Bill and Hilary in a small village near Marrakech, sharing food with the locals receive immense praise on social media. Moroccan social media users commented on “simplicity” of the couple and their “humbleness” and wished them a good stay in Morocco.

The Clintons came to Morocco last week and attended the birthday celebration of the Moroccan American billionaire and hedge fund Manager, Marc Lasry.
