Laundry APP, Mr Jeff, Enters Moroccan Market

The laundry start-up Mr. Jeff has announced that it entered the Moroccan market and is seeking to collaborate with local entrepreneurs and establish 25 stores in early 2020.

After a successful launch in 40 countries, the Spanish Mr. Jeff has set foot in Morocco, which it considers one of its largest regional markets. The company, which operates a similar concept to Uber, has sold its first 25 franchises in the cities of Casablanca, Tangiers, Marrakech, Mohammedia, Rabat and Nador.

The startup offers a lucrative franchise model to local entrepreneurs in the laundry and dry cleaning industry. Hundreds of applicants so far have sent their applications to Mr. Jeff, which is attracting more and more interest.

The concept of the business is simple. Upon registration, users go to the app on their phone or visit the website and select the clothes they want to wash or iron and add them to the chart. They choose a pick up and delivery address and the order gets placed automatically in the closest dry cleaners. Next, they choose the day and time slot for the pick up and delivery and make a payment.

After that, a delivery person comes at the time chosen to pick up the clothes, and delivers them back after cleaning, again at the time slot selected.

Users can either subscribe to Mr Jeff on a monthly plan or place a one-off order.

By the end of 2020, the company seeks to expand its operation in 200 franchises throughout Europe, Africa and Middle East.
