Rabat to Host First Edition of Cultural & Creative Industries

Morocco’s Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Federation of Cultural and Creative Industries organize the first edition of the Conferences of Cultural and Creative Industries on October 4th and 5th.

The event is a first in Morocco and will be held under the patronage of King Mohammed VI. The first edition of the Conferences of Cultural and Creative Industries will feature Moroccan and foreign figures, experts and cultural and economic actors, according to the French Language news source L’Economiste.

After the opening session, the participants will take part in debates, meetings, and workshops to address the means of developing the cultural and creative industries in Morocco.

The 5 themes to be debated during the events are “the wealth of cultural identities, a capital to be valued,” “The cultural ecosystem in search of evolution,” “Synergies and inclusion as levers of a new strategic vision,” “Culture, source of equity, modernity and sustainability,” and “Market opportunities for arts and culture in Morocco”.
